Obviously, studying abroad makes it possible for students to open many doors for their future. Students can get acquiented with new cultures, expand their knowledge and possibly continue living in a new country. But there are many disadvantages in studying abroad such as financial pressures, depression and staying unaware of the homeland’s needs.
At the first years, students need their parental supports when it comes to financial matters. University tuition fees, accommodation and transportation are very costly. Noticeably, a student can not count on finding a part-time work specially at the beginning months so, a reliable financial support is indispensable. As a result, a student in such as situation, should abolish many spendings in social areas such as clubbing, sport or cinema.
Depression, being one of the most outstanding effects of studying in a foreign country, suffers many students. Naturally, students who have had many relations with their surroundings, find themselves alone particularly at the early days. However, sometimes it lasts a couple of months for a student to find a person who can fill the place of their closed friends. Assimilating into a new culture is not a simple matter for many people with different social abilities.
Normally, students who head for a new country for continuing their studies, prefer to stay there for live and work but, there might be some conditions which oblige them to return. Unwillingly, being away from their country of origin for a while, they become unaware of the domestic needs. This issue might put their employment opportunity at risk in the homeland. Fore example, there might be many global fields of studies which are instructed in a country where its corresponding workfield is also exist there. In contrast, the same experties might not be needed in a graduated homeland at all. Therefore many educated individuls migh not be able to find their preferred work at their country upon return.
In summary, students who have the option to continue their studies at a different country should consider hardship of studying and staying in a foreign country in advance.
