Globalization has made it easy for students' community to pursue higher education in countries of their choice. Although there are some advantages of studying in a new country, there are a few advantages too. In the following paragraphs ,I will discuss the positive and negative aspects of the argument.

The net savvy students usually surf  the internet and select the best course for their further education although they are aware of the difficulties which may arise. They know that a solid degree from a reputed university would be a goldmine which would last for many years to come. For example, Indian students select the best university in the world to prosper in their career. Banks also help them to fulfill their ambition by giving them loans with  reasonable interest rates.

However, some students have suffered after graduating because of recession. They are unable to get jobs with fat pay packets despite of paying high fees and graduating from the best universities. Unable to get good jobs, the students also worry about repayment of loans. For instance, some students are now suffering from depression after completing their studies abroad because they neither get good jobs abroad nor the prospects are bright in their own country.

To conclude, I still feel that education plays a pivotal role in the lives of students and they should do a good research before joining a university whether it is at their motherland or abroad and just not follow the latest trend.

Hi Radha

I haven't forgotten this essay -  don't worry. I'm just waiting for some other people to give their valuable feedback.

Have a look at Nick's essay on the same topic (here's the link: https://staging5.writefix.com/?page_id=2722/about-this-forum/study-abroad-how-might-the-advantages-of-studying-in-another-country-outweigh-the-advantages) and perhaps make some comments.

Just one quick comment about your introduction -  I like the first sentence a lot. How could you make the second sentence stronger?

The last sentence in particular could be much better! Try not to use a sentence that could be used in any essay!
