In this world of increasing demand for knowledge and skills, pupils are aspiring to get admissions in top rank universities. On the other side universities have their own criteria for selecting candidates. Its own the basis of merits system, the individual gets into the institute.

In my opinion intake of candidates should be on the basis of an individuals professional potential and capabilities. To add further, according to my view point I agree with the topic statement to involve similar ratio of males to females, in the institute, as it will give equal exposure to both races and better experience. In addition to this it will prevent discrimination between sexes.

Firstly, to begin with, they equal number of males and females in any institute will reduce race difference between male and females. Students will be more open and free in their academic and extra-curricular activities. This inturn will help the individuals to boost up their confidence level and in return will remove their shyness. An example of my life I would like to share. I had studied into a girl schools from my childhood. Due to this any reason when any male person spoke to me, I felt the shyness and pessimistic nature in myself. Then after my schooling I graduated in a co-educated institute where there were equal ratio of boys and girls. Due to this very reason, I became more bold and interactive with the students of my opposite sex. Co education enhanced my communication skills and my shyness go.

Secondly, sex difference will be greatly reduced, especially in developing countries like India. Moreover studying opportunities will be given. This will help in balancing and giving equal status to both males and females.

Thirdly, as we all know that males and females have their own individual talents and strengths. In accordance with the need of situation their potential can be channelized and shared .which will prove beneficial for the individuals as well as for the institute itself.

To sum up, getting same statistical figures of individuals in universities will prove a boon for the universities as well as the nation as suggestion and view points are coming from both genders
